Alacero’s latest quarterly report revealed that Latina America during January to September 2012 received 3.2 million tonne and turned into the second most important destination 9% for Chinese finished steel exports.
With 7.5 million tonne South Korea continued to be the first destination 21%. The European Union dropped to the third place with 2.3 million tonne 7%.While exports to South Korea decreased 3.2% compared to January to September 2011 Latin America was the second destination for Chinese finished steel exports and continued to experience an important increase of18.7%. By this Chinese exports to the region grew significantly above global average 10.3%.
