Stainless Steel Strip----Chinese crude stainless output in H1 up by 10%
According to data released by the Stainless Steel Council of China Special Steel Enterprises Association, China’s crude stainless steel output totaled 8.82 million tonne in the first half of this year, rising by 9.6% YoY.
In the first half of this year, China’s apparent consumption of stainless steel totaled 6.84 million tonne, increasing by 5.8% YoY.
Besides, the country’s exports of stainless steel products totaled 1.26 million tonne in the given period of time, jumping by 34.2% YoY.
Meanwhile, the country’s production of crude stainless steel was up slightly by 0.2% from a quarter ago in the Q2 of this year.
