According to data of the Brazilian foreign trade ministry, Brazil’s imports of stainless steel flat products totaled 29,655 tonne in May, slumping by 33.18% from a month ago but rising by 2.17% YoY.
In May, China and Germany were the 2 largest suppliers of stainless steel flat products to Brazil.
In the first 5 months of this year, Brazil’s imports of stainless steel flat products amounted to 211,452 tonne, jumping by 63.82% YoY.
