Recently we received the feedback from the customer--a well-known international company--that the quality of the aluminum-steel composite plate produced by TISCO’s Composite Materials Plant fully met the requirements of the contract. This indicates that TISCO’s aluminum-steel composite plate has entered into the international market.
The aluminum-steel composite induction plates systems made with the aluminum-steel composite plate are used in the subway contact rail power supply system. Compared with the conventional overhead catenary system (OCS), the new power supply method has the advantages of good electric conductivity, less unit resistance, wear resistance, lightweight, long service life, low power consumption of the traction network and ease installation. It not only reduces the operation cost but also has good safety properties. It is very significant to improve the urban landscape.
TISCO’s Composite Materials Plant is the first to produce the aluminum-steel composite plate and the largest aluminum-steel composite plate plant in China. The plant provided aluminum-steel composite plates for Guangzhou Subway No. 4 and 5 Line to manufacture the core parts of the subway motor--drive induction plates--from 2005 to 2007.
In 2012, the customer’s technicians visited and investigated the equipment, production, specification and quality assurance system of TISCO’s Composite Materials Plant, and inspected carefully the trial products. In Dec., the formal purchase contract was signed by both sides.
Till now first two batches of the products—7 containers of aluminum-steel composite plates—were shipped. Now the Composite Materials Plant is producing the rest of the order according the requirements of the contract.
