There are two methods of angle bars processing which are slit rolled edge and hot drawn. After processing procedure, the materials could be polished to different surface or gauer the slit edge with different demands to widely use the materials. 

 

Stainless steel flat bar can be divided into two primary groups, one is true flat bar , the other is sheared and edged bar.  True flat bar is usually in the hot rolled and pickled condition, though it may sometimes be cold drawn.  This kind of bar has fairly sharp corners and tighter tolerances on thickness and width than sheared and edged bar, and is often used by fabricators where the finished project is polished.  Sheared and edged material is cut from plate, and then put through a process which straightens the bars and cleans up the edges. This is a much cost effective way to buy a flat bar when tolerances of edge and corner sharpness are not critical.
