The European Commission (EC) has announced that it has extended the 27.4 percent antidumping duty (AD) order on stainless steel fasteners from China to the Philippines as a result of the anti-circumvention investigation initiated against the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand, while terminating the anti-circumvention investigation against Malaysia and Thailand.The EC concluded that the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of certain stainless steel fasteners and the parts thereof originating in China was circumvented by transshipment via the Philippines.
