444 (18-2) stainless steel

444 (18-2) stainless steel

444 (18-2) Features and Applications:
SUS444 (00Cr18Mo2) is an ultra-low carbon and nitrogen containing 18% chromium and 2% molybdenum, high corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steel. The steel commonly used niobium or titanium stabilized, intergranular corrosion after welding can be avoided. The steel is especially suitable for a variety of water treatment devices.
444 (18-2) Chemical composition:

Note: ① The Bank of XM grades are listed in the table alloy ASTM grades. Model round brackets, is already obsolete AISI grades; ② single value unless otherwise indicated are the highest value; ③ maximum value of 1.00%; ④ nominal composition; composition range is not available; ⑤ maximum value of 0.50% ; ⑥ maximum value of 0.75%; ⑦ maximum value of 0.80%.
The yield strength of 444 is equivalent to 1.5 times that of carbon steel, fiberglass six times, for seismic resistance, snow, wind pressure resistance, impact resistance and other excellent properties having outstanding. SUS444 ferritic stainless steel high thermal conductivity, chrome-nickel austenitic stainless steel is about 130% to 150%, very suitable for the use of heat exchange. Thermal expansion coefficient, the Olympic squad's only chrome-nickel stainless steel of 60% to 70%, very suitable heat up, shrink, there is used under conditions of thermal cycling. The steel ductility, toughness, adapted to stretch, roll forming and stamping manufacturing. In particular, is the most excellent corrosion-resistant applications in high corrosion resistance in chloride media than ordinary ferritic stainless steel and Olympic's stainless steel, generally do not produce chloride stress corrosion cracking. After the addition of Ti, Mo, etc. yuan, improve the performance of pitting and crevice corrosion resistance hole. The method of the steel can be welded ordinary stainless steel welding. The steel is particularly suitable for food processing equipment, heat exchangers, water heaters tanks, water storage tank, solar collector panels.
444 steels are high alloy ferritic stainless steel, compared with the commonly used steel SUS430: 1 high chromium content of about 1.0%, and added alloying elements molybdenum (Mo), so that the steel has good resistance to pitting. crevice corrosion, stress corrosion, its corrosion resistance in some areas even better than SUS304 and SUS316.2. added titanium (Ti), niobium (Nb), zirconium (Zr) and other stabilizing elements, so that the steel has good inter-crystalline corrosion and high temperature oxidation.
Old designations 00Cr18Mo2, new grades for 019Cr19Mo2Nb1 & iuml ;, unified digital code for S11972 (GB / T 20878-2007).
