This fin kind is made from a bi-metallic tube consisting of an Al outer tube and an tube of just about any material. The fin is made by rolling material from the skin of the outside tube to provide an integral fin with wonderful heat transfer properties and longevity. Extruded fin offers wonderful corrosion protection of the bottom tube.
